In order to practice my Japanese I’m going to try to write a blog entry in Japanese!

Forgot to smile.

This weekend was quick and I’m sad to see it end. I was busy at Marshalls as usual. My relief from this was Raphael. Friday and Saturday and this morning together. Time flys so quickly when we’re together. We went to eat at Applebee’s Saturday night and the food was delicious. I enjoyed it.

My meal:

Cowboy Burger

Fries

Buffalo Wings

1/2 Blondie

Mango Iced Tea

Raphael’s meal:

Chicken Brocolli Alfredo Bowl

Garlic Breadstick

Autumn has come. Movement into Winter 2008♪

Autumn is here and as I walked to work today I noticed that it’s hard to deny. The trees are changing and it’s very romantic. I’m loving the season change here in Boston. However, this is movement into winter: my most hated season of them all. Other than that, I did an attempt to look angry today. I don’t know how well that turned out but eh. I also came across a little something that I really didn’t expect at Marshalls. Take a look.

What is destined to be will be.

While going through some pictures, I came across a picture of my father. I looked at it and said to myself. Wow, this looks really familiar. I went back through my most recent pictures. And I realized that in the most recent picture I took, I look a lot like him. I’ve been told all my life how much I look like him and it’s sort of inevitable. I guess that my genes make it so. Our current bond is not so very tight but I guess our similarities is what keeps our relationship together. It’s very hard for my father and I not to acknowledge the others existance because when we look in a mirror, we can see each other. It’s creepy in a way. But I guess that now in present day, I’m finally seeing it myself. It’s not a bad thing, he’s looking pretty good for 50 years old. If my genes are in the right places, I’ll age well too. But the resemblence now that I look, is uncanny.

Old Friends. New Beginning.

One of the best things about being back in Boston is seeing old friends again. Today I got to see 2 of them! One is a friend that goes WAY back and the other that is fairly recent but our friendship is CRAZY strong. While I was on the BU Shuttle on the way to go give Raphael a surprise visit, I saw out of the corner of my eye, a sweater Keaboka always used to wear. I was very excited so my first reaction was to get off the bus and run back to meet her. I hadn’t seen her at all in my whole time back and I have been missing her. We walked down over to Shawmut Street, which is close to where I was going, and we separated. It was great to see her again. It was strange because earlier today I was wonder what she was up to. I’ve known her since last year. She and I are very good friends. We both finished our last year of high school at Odyssey High School in Boston after moving away from our beloved Connecticut. We were in the same boat just about. We have a sort of brother-sister relationship. It’s great! Odette and I go way back to elementary school. Back to the good old cootie days. After all those years since I moved away from New Britain, we ended up going to the same university. So although we are both in a place very different form home, at least with each other we have a piece of home with us.So today, we had dinner together. It was my very first time eating at the Standish Myles cafeteria. It was very nice and has a different feel from the other dining halls. It’s rather cozy there; wouldn’t mind eating there again for sure! Those two made my day.

Other than that today I went to a BU Chamber Orchestra Concert. Being there really made me want to join the Chamber Orchestra. I am not in the College of Fine Arts and nor do I plan to enroll in that school. I just want to be able to play the viola. If I can I will buy my own. It’s something that I feel I need right now. It is beyond a “want” at this point. I really want to get back into playing.

Ich und Keaboka. Good times with this one.

This weekend was definitely a fun one. I got a lot of work done. I was a major work-a-holic and I made time in for fun. I hung out with Melissa and the amor (Raphael) again. It was Davidson’s birthday party!! Full of Super Smash Brawl (played twice) and Guitar Hero (all this morning). Hmm lets go back to the pre-weekend.

So today was Ralph’s and my anniversary! We had a great time going to Harvard Square and to UNOs to eat. We went to the movies to see “The City of Ember.” It was pretty awesome. We walked through Boston Common together. It was a great night. Estoy enamorado y espero que va a durar para siempre, mi amor.
