Too bad I don’t know French or else I’d put that in the title too. Well Merry Christmas everyone. I had a calm one today. We visited my aunt (as we do every holiday). Family time is what I needed. It was a great time playing Operation and dancing around the house randomly.

Being back home is nice. The trip back was short. I had my computer with me and the batter lasted the entire ride. That would have been impossible for my last computer. It was amazing! Whenever I return to Connecticut, everything is so familiar. It’s nice…but I know in a week or 2 I’ll be sick of it. {haha)

Boston was hit with a HUGE blizzard just as many toehr places were. I had to say goodbye to a few housemates and the amor. The snow was pretty insane. I’m shocked I didn’t slip on any ice or anything!

Boston during the snow was pretty fun!

That freaking bike is/will be there forever!

The original plan was to go have dinner at Applebee’s but this is the day before a test so, that didn’t happen. We went to Ken’s Ramen today. The food was great but it took a while due to our large group and limited seating. It was nice though. I got to finally hang out with Keaboka. Her hair looked really nice today. We had a long talk about life and -ahem- (Keaboka will know what that means when she reads this). I had a good time seeing everyone. Sadly Becca and Khalil and Raphael did not show up. But it’s still okay.

Quotes of the Evening

Asha: This water is giving me heartburn.

Thandi: You got you coconut cream on my face.

Me: That’s what she said

The Birthday Continues [Part 1] – 新しいコンピューターだよ!

My aunt recently helped me get a new computer because my old one has basically done its job. It is definitely time for a new one. And the best part is it is a very nice red color! It’s the same one that Raphael, his cousin Briana, my aunt Carol, and my cousin Ebony have. It’s like an epidemic! I’ve been a big study-holic today. I’m becoming very nervous due to the exam being tomorrow. I feel like there is so much I do not know. I’m going to try my best!

Computer Specs.

Dell: Inspiron 1525

Intel Celeron Processor (that could be better)

Windows Vista Basic (My first computer with Vista)

2 headphone jacks

1 mic jack

Built-in Cam and Mic

4 USB ports

Look to the left and you’ll notice my old computer. It was rather bad. It was pretty obsolete when I bought it 2 years ago as a 16th birthday present. But yeah it was a lot better than having no computer at all. The reason I wanted to get rid of it ASAP was due to it’s progressing problems. First it began to simply slow down, then it became a freezing problem. Then I was unable to shut it off. Then it started deciding when to go on hibernate. After that, the battery didn’t want to charge anymore. The 2 latest problems: A green line that kept appearing on the left side of the screen at random when I move my screen. Supposedly, they were dead pixels. I had no idea pixels could die! It wasn’t much special, a simple computer. It was not too appealing so I’m kind of confused myself on why i chose that computer of all the other computers… I was 16! The other problem was that while using the internet, it would randomly go to some webpages and one of them closed all of the windows and gave me a warning box telling me to click ‘Cancel’ or ‘OK.’ I closed the box by clicking the ‘x’ in the corner but it would quickly open a new web page that would pretend (or at least I hope it was pretending) to  scan my computer… I couldn’t take it.

My only problem now is with my sister who is upset that my mother and aunt gave me the computer as a present. I agreed to pay the money back to my aunt. It’s a bit strange though. Becuase in that since, it’s more like I bought myself a present…

私の誕生日の楽しさ(第十一テイク)Birthday Fun (Take 11): Best Shit Ever!

In all the trip to New York was definitely worth it. The tickets were cheap and we got to stay the whole day. It was my first thing there ever. Now that I know it’s not so hard to get over there, I’d love to go more often. So much fun things happened. It was a memorable birthday so thanks to Raphael for that idea. Turning 18 can’t and won’t ever happen again. I guess I will enjoy it to as much as I can (with caution becuase now I can be arrest if I did something bad!!)
