Humanities discussion was at the 808 gallery. The imagination of the artists amazes me so much. Very talented. Art is an amazing part of the human mind, although I’m not good, I’ll keep trying to make better and better things. For those artists out there. I just want to know if it’s something that is just natural or is it a long hard thinking process?

For those that don’t know 昨日 (kinou) is yesterday in Japanese.
Yesterday was a great day. It was the hottest day this year so far, however today is must about 10 degrees hotter! However, yesterday Melissa had a cook out at the JFK beach. Deren came along and had fun too. Volleyball, water, food, then off to work. It was good and ended abruptly. But well-enjoyed.

I’m just now realizing how fast I talk. I take this as a message to slow it down, so people can actually hear what I’m saying.

We visited the Beach today. Goign to remember that for quite a while. Thandi practically kissed the ground due to being so glad to be there. It was beautiful, and the weather was freaking great! I needed the day to break from all the stress schools been giving me. It’s almost over, just a bit more.

So yesterday was a lot of fun. We ate ramen again for the first time in about a month. Then we attended the Japanese Student Association’s yearly O-matsuri. It was fun although it seemed a bit cheesy and Anime-Conventionish. However we did a lot of thing nonetheless. They offered sushi, melon bread, a raffle, 書道 (shodou)/calligraphy, They also had DDR however it was home version with regular pads so playing was kind of difficult with the pad moving around everywhere. Afterwards, we walked through CAS and found out that the Korean Student Association’s show had just started, so being spontaneous we went. I also wanted to go to see Sharon’s performance. She did a great job. The KSA’s show blew the JSA’s O-matsuri away like completely. The production was so much better, there weren’t really any cheesy moments. It seems like they took a lot of time to put the show together. At the O-matsuri, everything was so disconnected and people started to leave really early. Afterward Raphael and I hung out with Sharon and her family which was fun. The Korean Association’s show really made me more interested in Korea, it has a very interesting culture. I’m definitely glad I went.

Not the movie. We went to the museum last night. It was really amazing how much art Boston’s museum has. However it’d be better if we wouldn’t see it all in a day.

There was a large spiderweb in the West Dining Hall this afternoon. Thandi was the first one to see it and she made the best face ever. It’s so scared yet modelesque.

Angela randomly organized an outing to the Japanese Restaurant in West Campus called “Kaguya.” It was a fun experience, the food however wasn’t all that great or anything. I felt like it was all missing something. The salmon tasted too much like chicken. The yakisoba was good but I missed the Yakisoba from Tokyo Game Action… Still it was fun seeing Sharon, Angela and David together again as well as Megan and Angela’s two friends (I forgot their names). I don’t think I see Angela enough. She somehow got this really dark tan and had I see her enough, I would have realized she was getting so dark. {haha)
