LoVE on the DashBOARD

To New York To Meet Utada – Part 3: How the Hell do we get back home..?

Okay so after the event, I was half-satisfied as I got to finally see my favorite singer EVER in person only a few feet away from me. The closest I have ever been and may ever be again to her. I would have been disappointed to let that chance slip away. However we left and decided to grab a bite to eat and then head back to Chinatown to re-board the Lucky Star. We got there at 10:10PM and the last bus left at 10PM. We though we should take the Fung Wah bus, but the last bus for that is also at 10PM. So we had no idea what to do so I recalled Deren telling me that his father lives in NY so we tried to see if it was okay for  us to stay there until the next Lucky Star Bus at 7. We ended up trying to pool our money together to buy the really expensive Greyhound tickets. That’s 70 bucks! We were saved because we had $70.10 together. What sucked was on the way, the train ticket machine ate two of my dollars and gave me an apology notice back for eating my money. We took the Greyhound at 12:15AM and arrived back at 4:30AM. Pretty insane night. That whole day was insane. Up for a whole 24 hours to meet Utada Hikaru. Worth it. Autographed picture of Hikki! ♥ That’s getting framed 😛 The ups of the night was now I know how to read a New York train map and how the streets work. Getting stuck pays off!

Oh course.. Time Square

Take 10-1: Literal

The title is meant literally. We had to use the bathroom and there was a Charmin building that was dedicated to people using the bathroom. It was amazing. There was a guy dancing to the background music and then there was another guy that pointed me out because I was recording a video of him. It was really funny. He was saying at one point:

Guy: You ever have it where your butt is just kind of sneezing?

Yeah like *makes the noises*

Yup…yup *points to this woman*

Yup, she knows.

Do The Dance!

So we couldn’t resist the awesome Toys’R’Us store there. I hadn’t been in one for years since I bought Pokemon Yellow in 2000 I think. We went there to play the DDR there. It sucked and the girls that were watching were being idiots by telling the people playing that they suck. The ironic part is that when they actually played, they usd Beginning and failed miserably at it.

So after we got hungry we need to eat somewhere. We found a T.G.I. Friday’s. We were shockingly seated very quickly. We were rather closely packed together in there. I ordered a burger with some strange cheese that reminded me of a jelly fish. I asked for well done but it was still a little red on the inside. However, I did not complain…I just made faces. Raphael had chicken alfredo and it was not that delicious from what he told me. The food was crazy expensive. What I would have ordered in Boston for $30 dollars costed me $50. I guess that is one thing Boston has over New York, better food for less money. We had some people next to use speaking Italian and our waiter was nice although he seemed as if he was depending on our good comments to his boss or something so he could keep his job. He spent a lot of time apologizing for no reason. Good service, bad food.

$51.11 ... never again.
