巡り会った :D

巡り会った 😀

I haven’t seen her in about 8 years! She remembered my face but I’ve really grown alot since then. It’s crazy. Just a random lucky run-in we had while I was at work. These are the times when you appreciate that you work at a store like Marshalls. Also had I not gone today I wouldn’t have seen her! Time certainly does fly by.

The original plan was to go have dinner at Applebee’s but this is the day before a test so, that didn’t happen. We went to Ken’s Ramen today. The food was great but it took a while due to our large group and limited seating. It was nice though. I got to finally hang out with Keaboka. Her hair looked really nice today. We had a long talk about life and -ahem- (Keaboka will know what that means when she reads this). I had a good time seeing everyone. Sadly Becca and Khalil and Raphael did not show up. But it’s still okay.

Quotes of the Evening

Thandi: You got you coconut cream on my face.

Me: That’s what she said

I missed her a lot

ourWe went to the center were there was this gigantic Chistmas tree! It pretty awesome. It had the most perfect Christmas atmosphere. The cloudy sky and ice skating rink and also being surrounded by Christmas music being played everywhere. It was wonerful.

It's our holiday... but mostly mine 'cause it's my birthday. {haha)

So we couldn’t resist the awesome Toys’R’Us store there. I hadn’t been in one for years since I bought Pokemon Yellow in 2000 I think. We went there to play the DDR there. It sucked and the girls that were watching were being idiots by telling the people playing that they suck. The ironic part is that when they actually played, they usd Beginning and failed miserably at it.

私の誕生日の楽しさ(第一テイク)Birthday Fun (Take 1): The Beginning

Okay so for my birthday I decided to go to New York City. It was just me and the amor. It was so nice. We woke up at 4AM and took the 6:30AM Lucky Star Bus from Boston to New York City. It was definitely exciting. The ride was about 3-4 hours. I was really shocked how fast it was and that I actually found the ride enjoyable. I was so relaxed during the bus ride. When we go to New York I was so suprised at the size of all the buildings. I thought that being in Boston, big buildings wouldn’t be much. But compared to New York, Boston has practically no big buildings. During the ride Raphael and I just passed the iPod back and forth listening to some of our favorite songs.

We got off the bus in Chinatown. The Chinatown in New York City is huge compared to the one in Boston. There were lots of shops and everything. We were so lost at first. Trying to navigate the streets of New York without any actual destination or anything. We eventually got a map, but we were still lost. We managed to find out way to a Subway station on Canal Street that took us to Time Square which is where all the fun happened. On the way over to Canal Street we were overwhelmed by the large groups of people everywhere. And the people trying to sell us everything. It was insane.

Chinese Lady: Tickets to Boston…Boston…You go… to Boston?!

Sketchball Salesman: iPod Touch, iPod Touch, iPod iPod iPod Touch…check it out…

The fun started here.
